The site boasts several souvenir shops and a small pavilion where visitors can sit back and take in the views. It’s also an ideal spot for taking a break with snacks like coconut water with sassimi – a traditional local food with an intriguing taste and texture.
Another way to spend some time at the site is visiting the Pacific War Museum. This museum tells the story of World War II in the Pacific theater through various exhibits and artifacts – making it a must-visit for anyone with an interest in history.
Tumon Beach is a little bit of a drive away, but the view is well worth the trip. If you’re planning to go, arrive early or late in the day so as to beat the crowds and take in all of the scenery.

Underwater World
For an exciting activity in Guam, Underwater World is the place to visit. Situated in Tumon, this aquarium boasts one of the longest tunnel-aquariums and promises a thrilling experience for everyone.
This aquarium showcases an array of sharks, mantarays and fishes inside its large tank. Plus, there’s a tunnel running through it at 7 feet high and 10 feet long that takes visitors through the entire aquarium – perfect for families with younger kids who will love exploring this unique experience!
After passing through the tunnel, you will enter a large room filled with marine animals from around the world. Here you can admire everything from giant groupers and sea turtles to sharks and rays. Plus there’s live coral and sea horses showing that the ocean is alive!
You’ll have access to audio guides in English and Japanese that explain the different marine life species you may see. Plus, there’s a gift shop with items for kids!

Another thing I appreciate about this beach is that it’s a nature preserve, offering plenty of live coral and fish. Additionally, there’s a playground for children and stunning pavilions to relax in. This makes for an excellent family destination where everyone can take in some of Guam’s best views.
Rent a cabana and take in the stunning view from there, or have a picnic in the park. This is an ideal spot for people who want to unwind from city life.
The Pacific War Museum is a must-stop for anyone interested in World War II. It showcases various exhibits and artifacts that will teach you about the conflict, plus it has its own library as well as gift shop on site.

Adventurers might enjoy hiking to Talofofo Caves. These six caverns in Mariana reef limestone form an intricate labyrinth of chambers connected by high passageways.
Hikers often visit these caves for their adventure. While exploring them is possible either on foot or with a guided tour, it’s recommended that you bring sturdy boots and insect repellant as there are various species of insects in the area.
